The primary focus of any functional fitness competition is the amazing feats of strength of the competitors, but it’s impossible to have a great event without dedicated judges and volunteers. CrossFit I35 has upped the ante on competition judging and is prepared to raise the bar again during the Summer Swole-Stice IV. There will be movement standards videos, input from judges, athletes, and coaches on the competition programming, and a community of judges and volunteers from multiple affiliates to ensure a great competition for athletes and spectators.
If you are interested in having the best seat in the house during for the second Swole-Stice, you can sign up to judge by visiting our event page and clicking the “Volunteer” button. While we appreciate having people who have judged before, it’s not required. Our Director of Judging, Diana Alt, is returning for her 6th event at CrossFit I35 to ensure any new judges are properly trained.
Not quite ready to start doling out the no reps for real? We can still use your help with the event. We have opportunities to volunteer with registration, equipment, scoring, and a variety of other duties for the weekend. Signing up for these duties works just the same as signing up to judge – go to the Winter Ice Storm event page and click volunteer.
The best part? Judges and Volunteers get free meals and groovy T-shirts to wear while working the event. Everyone loves swag.
